HM The Queen has appointed Robert Frank Owen QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has assigned him to the Midland Circuit, based at Birmingham Civil Justice Centre with effect from Wednesday 7 October 2009.
Notes for the Editor
Robert Frank Owen QC is 56. He was called to the Bar (I) in 1977 and took Silk in 1996. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1998 and as a Recorder in 2000.
