Appointment of Salaried Employment Judges of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) - Buchanan, Roper and Warren
The Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP, has appointed Andrew MacPherson Buchanan, Nicholas John Roper and Martin Stuart Warren to be Salaried Employment Judges of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales), all with effect from 4 January 2010. Mr Buchanan will be assigned to the Newcastle Region, Mr Roper will be assigned to the Birmingham Region, and Mr Warren will be assigned to the London East Region.

Andrew MacPherson Buchanan is 56. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1979 and was appointed as a Fee-paid Chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) in 1995.
Nicholas John Roper is 49. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1985 and was appointed as a Fee-paid Chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) in 1996.
Martin Stuart Warren is 50. He was admitted as a Solicitor in 1984 and was appointed as a Fee-paid Chairman of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales) in 2002.
