Appointment of a Circuit Judge - Thomas QC

HM The Queen has appointed Paul Huw Thomas QC to be a Circuit Judge on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, the Right Honourable Jack Straw MP. The Right Honourable The Lord Judge, Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales has assigned him to the Wales Circuit, based at Cardiff Crown Court with effect from Friday 18 December 2009.

Notes for the Editor

Paul Huw Thomas QC (52) was called to the Bar (G) in 1979 and took Silk in 2003. He was appointed as an Assistant Recorder in 1997 and as a Recorder in 2000.
