Accelerating the pace of digital transformation in the NHS
Dr Jonathan Bloor, medical director of the System C & Graphnet Care Alliance, writes about the impact of COVID-19 on bringing digital innovation into the NHS.
It is already clear that in the last three months there has been more digital transformation in parts of the NHS than in the previous 10 years combined.
In a sector where tech adoption has often been as slow as getting a new drug from benchside to bedside – why, and how, has so much been achieved so quickly? Are there lessons to be applied as we reopen and reshape health and care services?
