REED NCFE, a joint venture between NCFE and Reed in Partnerships, has supported over 135,000 learners into the workplace since working for its first FE customer in 2012. Through working together we have been able to learn a great deal about what learners and employers want from each other, and have built some fantastic relationships countrywide.

A number of changes in the market, especially funding, have had an impact on the sustainability of the joint venture making it necessary to change how we work together. With that in mind, we are entering a new chapter for NCFE and REED in order to continue to deliver the best service to our customers.

As of 31 August 2017, all REED NCFE learning resources including the BESTest assessment and associated e-learning modules have been transferred to NCFE. These will sit alongside our suite of other resources to support our customers with employability outcomes. REED, who are experts in recruitment, will offer their brokerage solutions to centres after the current REED NCFE jobs brokerage contract comes to the end of its term.

NCFE and REED have a very positive working relationship and our core purpose remains the same - we are both fully committed to bridging the gap between the world of learning and the competitive labour market. We look forward to working together on future projects.
