NEPO Business Club: Using 'environment' to add value to your business (9 Dec)
As part of NEPO Business Club, NEPO is hosting the first in a series of free interactive events designed to support business recovery and to rebuild better.
Takes place Wednesday 9 December 2020 (10.00 – 12.00)
Local authorities have significant climate change targets to achieve in a relatively short period of time. They need to find and work with businesses across all their contracts who can help them achieve this.
This event will benefit suppliers of all sizes currently thinking about climate change, COVID-19 recovery and social value. It has been designed for North East businesses planning to take the first steps in developing a credible environmental response.
The interactive event will:
- help you understand how to embed an environmental focus into your business
- help you understand how ‘environment’ can help you save money, win contracts, and add real value to your business
- show you what practical support is available to help you succeed
Introducing our speakers:
- Councillor John Clare – Durham County Council Climate Change Champion
- Andy Ditchburn – Creative Director, Perro Design and Communications
- Garry Stone – Managing Director, B2B North Ltd
This is an interactive fast-paced session with time for polls, Q&A and discussion. Join us for follow-on events in January and February to develop discussions further.
