NEPO’s solution for Furniture included in ‘Deals for Schools’
NEPO’s nationally available solution for Furniture has been included in the Department for Education’s (DfE) list of recommended deals.
The Deals for Schools guidance comprises a list of frameworks that DfE have assessed for compliance, ease of use, suitability and value for money. DfE have also considered feedback from schools already using the deals.
Procured by NEPO to meet public sector requirements, the multi-supplier, multi-lot solution provides a compliant solution for the provision of furniture across a variety of settings. The solution is split into three lots: office, educational and residential/domestic furniture.
DfE recognise that the solution provides its stakeholders with access to a full no obligation design and consultancy service for major projects (e.g. furniture for new school buildings). Buyers can also undertake direct awards to first ranked supplier for smaller purchases (i.e. one-off items).
